Planning the next journey

Since I was a kid, there is nothing that I have loved more than getting out of the city and going camping. This started when I was a about 8 and I was a cub scout, my dad was a cub scout leader and I would always be out camping with him, even before I became a cub.

This has morphed through the years into a full blown obsession with 4WDs, camper trailers and pretty much spending any time away from camping, planning for the next adventure.

In May, my wife and our friends are planning on hitting the north of Western Australia up once again to see some new sights. This is our rough plan of attack to do the Gibb River Road from Kununurra through to Derby with some stop-offs before to see Wolf Creek Crater and maybe even a sneaky cross over the border into the Northern Territory. If time permits there may be a stop off in Broome.

So tell me, have you been up here and if you have, for the best photo opportunities, where do you recommend we stop and have a look or stay?
